Who do we report pot holes and street light problems to?: You can report pot holes to the Public Works Department by calling 303-738-9426. Please leave a detailed message along with your name and telephone number.

The City pays for the electricity used for street lights in public rights of way. This includes all lights located on the state highways in the City. Xcel Energy is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all street lights for the City. This includes the replacement of burnt out light bulbs. Excel Energy can be notified of needed street light repairs at 800-895-1999.

1. How are road repairs prioritized?: A decision matrix is used to prioritize street repairs. Decision factors include composition of the roadway, deterioration, stress of the roadway, public usage factors, and the citywide Comprehensive Plan. Public usage factors include overweight vehicles such as semi-trucks, volume, and designation of primary or secondary roadway.

2. How long do I have to clear my sidewalk after a snowstorm?: City ordinances require that all sidewalks be cleared within 24 hours after the snow storm ends.
